Our school has been fortunate to have received a Fields of Remembrance kit that was provided by the Fields of Remembrance Trust. The Fields of Remembrance Trust has been established to honour those who served and fought for our nation during World War. The objective of the Fields of Remembrance Trust is to encourage and support the establishment of Fields of White Crosses around New Zealand to commemorate the soldiers who fought, and in particular the 18,200 who gave their lives in World War I.
